Owls Tee Off at GSAC Tournament

Flanders, NJ - The UCNJ College Golf Team turned in an impressive performance at the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Tournament, held Wednesday, April 30, at Flanders Valley Golf Course. The Owls posted a team score of 371—an outstanding 41-stroke improvement from their previous round at the same course on April 7.

Aedan Paredes led the way for UCNJ, firing a season-best round of 90. Teammates Michael Fernandez, Brendan Fitzsimmons, John McDonald, and Matt Riggins also contributed solid rounds for the Owls.

Head Coach Postiglione expressed pride in his team’s progress, noting the remarkable improvement is the result of the hard work and dedication his players have shown throughout the season.

With momentum on their side, the Owls will now shift their focus to the Region XIX Golf Tournament, set for May 12–13 at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, NJ.
