Wrestling Owls Drop Three Duals in Upstate New York; But Sanchez Shines in Season Debut

Troy, N.Y. – To start off the second half of the season, Union Owls Wrestlers headed north to Upstate New York for a quad match at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, this past Saturday, that included Springfield Technical Community College (MA) and Montclair State University (NJ).

The Owls jumped out to early leads in each match behind Naci Robinson (125) and Claudio Sanchez (133) before being defeated in each dual on the day. Sophomore Claudio Sanchez impressed in his season debut, donning the black and red, picking up three wins by bonus points, which included two pins.

The Owls look to bounce back against Camden Community College, as they head to Camden, NJ on Friday, January 19th. Come support the owls at our next home match on Jan 25, 2024, which will be a tri-match against Middlesex College and Sussex Community College. We will also be honoring our harding working sophomores, as they prep for graduation this year! All taking place at the Owl's Nest (Cranford Campus Gymnasium).
