Union Owls Host Golf Match at Heron Glen
On Monday March 27th, the Union College Owl Golf Team hosted a match at Heron Glen Golf Course in Ringoes, New Jersey. The Owls combined for a team score of 430. Coach Postiglione was pleased with this team score and the tremendous effort of his Owl golfers. The Owls were playing in only their second competitive college golf match. Freshman Patrick Murray led the Owl Golfers by finishing in 2nd place firing a round of 77 in windy and wet conditions. Sophomore Michael LoManto and Jake Krawczyk along with Freshman Jacob Swan also started for the Owls. On a very difficult golf course, Krawczyk carded a 106. The team will be busy with practice this week in anticipation of a match Union is hosting next Monday April 3rd at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth.
