Owls Call of Duty Pushes Their Lead In The Standings
Week 4 Esports Recap:
EA FC 25:
UCNJ’s Sebastian Jaramillo suffered his third straight loss of the season to Lakeland Community College. Sebastian lost the series 2-0, losing the first game 1-0 and the second game 5-1. Sebastian looks to turn his season around on 11/4/25 as he takes on the top player in the region from Guilford Technical Community College
Fortnite No Build:
The Fortnite team still remains undefeated this season after taking care of 2nd place Jackson College. The Owls won the series 2-0, winning a tight first game 6-5 and finishing up the series with a game 2 win, 3-0. The First Place 4-0 Owls will take on another team from Jackson College on 10/28/24.

Overwatch:
The Overwatch Team is continuing to have trouble finding their footing this season. The Owls lost to secomd place Northen Virginia Community College 3-0. The Owls will look to get their first win of the season against Guilford Technical Community College on 10/30/24.

Call of Duty Gunfight:
The Call of Duty Gunfight continues their hot streak to start the season. The Owls first took on second place Hawkeye Community College and defeated them handily 3-0 to push their lead in the standings. The Owls let the momentum ride going into their matchup against third place Bevill State Community College and sweeping them 3-0. The first place Owls now sit at 8-0 and are setting themselves up for a favorable seeding for the regional playoffs. The Owls will next be in action for a Halloween doubleheader against Guilford Technical Community College and Terra State Community College.

Mario Kart 1 vs 1:
Santiago Puerto was back in action against another racer from Danville Area Community College to start matchday 4 of the season. Santi went on to win the series 4-0. For the second match of the night Santi was up against Marshalltown Community College. This match did not finish in the Owls favor as Santi dropped the series 4-0. Santi currently sits at third place on the season with matchups against Cleveland Community College and first place Lorain County Community College coming up on Halloween night.
Rocket League:
The UCNJ Owls faced the gauntlet in Rocket League last week as they completed a triple header for the night. Their first matchup was against another perennial powerhouse in Wake Technical Community College, The Owls lost the matchup 3-1(0-5, 0-7, 3-1,1-2) but their spirits remained high as they were able to take a match and compete in game 4. In the second matchup against West Virginia University: Potomac State College, the Owls let the spirit and momentum ride as they defeated their opponents 3-0 (6-2,2-1,4-1). For the final matchup of the night the Owls faced off against Bevill State Community College. They won the series 3-1 (1-3, 3-0, 5-3, 3-2). The Owls currently sit in fifth place with a 7-3 record with matches against Western Technical College and second place Madison College on 11/1.

Mario Kart 4v4:
A technical issue on the side of the NJCAAE saw the 4v4 team receive a bye week. The Owls are hoping to hit the circuit on 10/30/24.
