CRANFORD, NJ - The Union men's basketball team used a strong second half to down Atlantic Cape 95-81. Union was down four points going into to halftime, but outscored Atlantic Cape by 17 points in the second half to close out the win.
Sophomores Tyheem Burno (Jersey City, NJ) and Nyquan McCombs Staten Island, NY) led the offensive drive with 59 combined points. Burno finished with 30 points and 10 assists, while McCombs finished with 29 points and five assists. Fellow sophomore teammate Jordan Rowley threw in 12 points and 15 rebounds for another double-double on the season. Sophomore Trevon Bleasdell contributed 17 points.
The win improves the Owls to 9-15 on the season. They will next travel to Bergen on Tuesday, February 5 for a 7:00 pm tip.
