Bio

BJ Young is our wrestling coach in his second year at the helm. A graduate of Newberry College with a Bachelors in Physical Education, BJ plans on taking the program to the next level. With experience as a wrestling coach and as a professional MMA fighter, BJ brings a strong sense of discipline and focus for our athletes.

Coach BJ is a two-time NCAA National Runner-Up and  three-time NCAA All-American.

When asked for a favorite quote BJ responded, "Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldnt be there. eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters. and we are lucky to have them there for they make the battle.
