Both UCNJ Men’s and Women’s Basketball Remain #4 in NJCAA National Rankings
Cranford, NJ - For the third straight week, both the men’s and women’s basketball teams remain ranked No. 4 nationally in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) polls — a testament to the depth, consistency and competitive fire of the Owls programs. The men compete in NJCAA Division III, while the women compete in Division II — and both squads continue to hold top-5 national status in their respective divisions.
Women’s Basketball
This week, the UCNJ women:

Took down Salem Community College in impressive fashion. Zakiyyah Lindsey brought in 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals for the Owls. Right behind, Jasmin McKay with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. Owls wins 98-32.

Followed it up with a strong win over Monroe University. Owls wins 76-66.

Then awarded a win by forfeit over County College of Morris
Through all three games — and now three weeks ranked at No. 4 — the women have proven they belong among the nation’s elite in NJCAA Division II.
Men’s Basketball
Meanwhile, the UCNJ Men's Basketball kept pace with two solid performances this week:

Against Essex County College, the Owls delivered a complete effort from tip-off to final buzzer. Owls win 66-64.

In their second game, they outplayed Sussex County Community College and walked away with another victory. Owls win 89-51
With those wins, the men remain firmly entrenched at No. 4 in the NJCAA Division III men’s poll.
